At VS Ranch’n Aussies & Corgis, our dogs are much more than part of a breeding program—they are part of our family and our everyday ranch life.
We raise Miniature and Standard Australian Shepherds and Corgis with an emphasis on health, temperament, quality, and socialization. Our goal is to raise puppies that are not only beautiful representatives of their breeds, but loving, confident companions that can become an important part of their new families.
Our puppies are raised inside our home and on our ranch, surrounded by the everyday sights, sounds, people, animals, and activity that are part of our lives. From their first days with us until the day they leave for their new homes, they receive hands-on care, attention, and lots of love.
Our Purpose
Our breeding program begins with a simple belief: good dogs make life better.
We love the intelligence, loyalty, versatility, and devotion of the Australian Shepherd, along with the big personalities, affection, and unmistakable character of the Corgi.
We carefully select our breeding dogs with the goal of producing healthy puppies with wonderful temperaments and the qualities we love about each breed.
Whether one of our puppies grows up to enjoy ranch life, travel with their family, participate in dog sports, or simply spend their evenings curled up beside their favorite person, we want them to have the foundation to live happy, fulfilling lives.
How Our Puppies Are Raised
Home Raised. Ranch Raised. Well Socialized.
We believe raising a great puppy starts long before that puppy goes home.
Our puppies are born and raised inside our home, where we can closely monitor them and give them individual attention from the beginning.
As they grow, their world gradually becomes bigger.
They experience normal household activity, different sounds and surfaces, handling, play, and age-appropriate new experiences. They also get to experience life around our ranch, giving them opportunities to explore and develop confidence in a safe environment.
Socialization isn't something we save for the last few weeks. It is part of how our puppies are raised from the beginning.
Our goal is to send each puppy home with a strong foundation of confidence, trust, adaptability, and positive experiences.
Health Is a Priority
Producing healthy puppies begins with making thoughtful decisions about the dogs we breed.
Our breeding dogs are genetically tested, and we use those results when planning our pairings. We believe genetic testing is an important tool that helps us make more informed breeding decisions and work toward the long-term health of our dogs and puppies.
We don't believe responsible breeding is simply about producing a beautiful puppy. Health, temperament, structure, and quality all matter.
Every pairing is considered carefully with the next generation in mind.

American Kennel Club (AKC)
Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA)
American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR)
Registration availability depends on the breed, parents, and individual litter.
Standard Australian Shepherds
We love the Standard Australian Shepherd for its intelligence, loyalty, athletic ability, and desire to be part of whatever its family is doing.
Our goal is to preserve the wonderful qualities that make the Australian Shepherd such a versatile and devoted breed.
Miniature Australian Shepherds
Our Minis offer many of the characteristics we love about Aussies in a smaller package. We focus on producing healthy, intelligent, confident dogs with loving personalities and beautiful breed characteristics.
Corgis
There is nothing quite like a Corgi.
Their personalities, intelligence, loyalty, and unmistakable expressions make them incredibly special companions. Our Corgis receive the same thoughtful breeding decisions, health considerations, socialization, and family upbringing as our Aussies.
Finding the Right Family
Choosing a puppy is a big decision, and placing our puppies with the right families is important to us.
We want to learn about the people interested in our puppies—their home, lifestyle, experience, and what they're looking for in a companion.
Likewise, we want families to get to know us and feel comfortable asking questions about our dogs, our puppies, and our program.
Our goal isn't simply to find a home for each puppy. It's to help create a good match between the puppy and the family who will love them for the rest of their life.

Our puppies don't grow up separated from our lives—they grow up as part of them.
Ranch life gives our puppies an opportunity to experience a world beyond a traditional kennel environment. At the same time, being raised inside our home allows them to become familiar with the everyday routines of family life.
